A Few of My Favorite Things.. ( Current favorites from our blogger, Kirstin)
I’ll be the first to admit this- I LOVE Modish. If you were to go through my closet, you would see that too. This season is no exception to my boutique love. With a season of easy tees and comfy sundresses, I’m absolutely in HEAVEN. Today’s blog features a few of my favorite items right now at the store.
1. Cici Tee: We featured the Cici tee in an earlier blog post but this basic is worth another mention. This top features a scoop neckline with a slightly high-low hem. My favorite part about the tee is the shape though. It’s fitted through the shoulders and then a little looser through the hips. Regardless of your figure shape, this item flatters EVERYONE. Bonus? This tee comes in seventeen colors!
2.Candie Shorts: I LOVE these shorts! When the weather ascends past the 90 degree mark, lightweight is what I am looking for. These crinkle rayon fabric shorts are just that. Featuring a bright embroidered edging, tulip hem, and drawstring waist, they are the perfect shorts for summer! I paired these with a Cici tee for a comfortable, but modern, look.
3. Cyan Dress: For me, it’s a summer of weddings for friends and family members. Of them, three of them are outside! I’m on the look for lightweight dresses that can transition from an afternoon ceremony to an evening reception. I’m in LOVE with this dress because of the shape it creates. It’s a rich green color maxi dress with delicate ruffled sleeves and a belted waist. Add a pair of nude wedges or heels and clutch to finish the look off.
4. Harmony Top: It’s summer and hot. Nothing is better than a lightweight strappy top that I can just throw on with a pair of shorts (pair them with the Lulu shorts for a fun, festival-inspired look.) The harmony top is another figure flattering top with a knotted front. It comes in five bright colors that are perfect for every wardrobe color palette.
5. Bondage Inspired Bralette: I love bralettes and the edge that they can add to an outfit. This bralette adds a subtle level of sexy that can be for any cute summer top. Try pairing them with the Harmony top for a easy summer look!
